Ronna Knetter coordinated Golf and played with Shelly Broll, shooting a 96 - a mere 4 strokes from the bonus-point earning 8th place.
Ronna wrote a few quick thoughts:
We had a blast, and played with Caravan, they were awesome. They finished with a 103. For the most part weather was good but it started raining on us on the last hole. The women's tournament is cursed with rain every year. The storm from the night before dumped a lot of rain on the course and it was swampy, so cart path rules applied. If you didn't hit a good shot you were trucking to find it, it proved to be challenging at times, to keep up game play with the really good teams.
***
The men, Chase Coburn and Brian Payne, shot an 80 amongst a highly competitive group.

5k-2011
Jamie Holmquist and Rick Pack coordinated PRA's 5k running. The 5k is a running/walking race that is about 3.1 miles.
The team scored 8 more KCCC points than last year's precedence-setting performance, and with two fewer runners!
Strong division performances by [Name (rank in division's gender/age group, gun time] Sarah Englert (2nd, 25:27), Jamie Holmquist (25:47, 5th), Wayne Walker (5th, 22:38), Jeff Hinchey (8th, 25:03), Walt Rutherford (6th, 27:17), Julia Thorpe (4th, 28:23), Sarah Dittmann (6th, 26:48), and Elizabeth Hackathorn (7th, 39:01); plus the courageous, early morning runs by Andy Hulme (24:42), Clint Goodman (25:03), Jeff Wiley (23:34), Kiley Miles (33:31), Casey Rutherford (36:32), Faith Peterman (39:33), and Brandi Lute (40:48) caused PRA to place 8th in the division for the 5k - our best performance ever, and our first points-scoring rank ever!
We hope to post movies from the morning soon.

Dodgeball - 2011
Scott Hall coordinated PRA's first dodgeball team. Chase Coburn produced a highlight of the year by remaining the lone PRA employee at the end of one game, and then defeating three opponents by himself. Dumbfounded we were, absurd it was.
The matches were close, and the final games' record was perhaps 4 wins and 5 losses, but the team lost both matches.
You can also see Jamie Holmquist standing alone, Scott Hall recovering after a strong toss, Julia Thorpe executing an exquisite rolling dodge, and more below!
